Like many Soul fans I discovered soul music at the local youth club (PADDYS) where I first heard what they called Soul. Back then it was the classier late 60s & 70s Mecca tunes & Tamla Motown that got me. The sax, the strings, the big vocals and full productions. That was it I was hooked on this thing we call soul music
