No One Sun – 2011 and a chance meeting between Nick Noone and Jamie Hewson, they clicked and before they knew it they had written, performed, produced and released their first album ‘ All We Rely on is Stolen’ .  Achieving world wide sales they put a band together with the addition of Gary Faulkner, Nick Moulden and Craig Warburton and have gigged all over the North West and in London.

After a busy year on the live circuit, the follow up, a 6 track ep of self penned songs ‘Bogota, was released in 2014

April 2015 and they have released on their most beautiful songs to date ‘Lyra’

Merry Hell Founded in their native North West of England, Merry Hell is an eight piece folk rock band with a history, pedigree and bright future.

The band was forged in the smoking embers of 90’s folk/punk band The Tansads with the Kettle family at the heart. John, Andrew and Bob Kettle with John’s wife Virginia Kettle joining on vocals and augmented by Nick Davies on bass, Andy Jones on drums, Lee Goulding on keyboards and Neil McCartney on violin.  The band are magnificent live, attending many festivals as well as there own tours and with the 3rd album just released, are fast becoming one of the most talked about live bands on the circuit.

 Love Revolution are Anthea and Andy Prince and write and perform psychedelic 60’s style folk rock – Love and Peace with attitude

They are joined by NQR’s very own Dave Buckley on drums and Matt Tweed on sitar, guitar and 12 string playing Glastonbury in 2014. Anthea and Andy formed a songwriting partnership in 2011, their debut album Penhayl received critical acclaim from R2 magazine. Anthea has a solo album ‘Jar of Clay’ under her own name of Anthea Needs and  Andy is also a world renowned Chapman stick player, formerly with Sham 69 and has a solo album out ‘Band of Rain’ under the name of Andrew Prince. You can hear more from them on their website along with the stunning ‘I won’t let my shadow block out the sun’  – Website:
